 At 3 am on a cold New England morning, Annie finds her older brother William comatose in the Episcopal Church cemetery. Annie had just been getting to know her big brother again after being sent away for a few years, and everythingfrom before is different. And now this!

Determined to find answers to her questions, Annie inspects a mysterious altar in William’s bedroom. There’s a slip of paper pinned down under each of 6 colorful crystals. Each piece of paper has a name on it. Six classmates who have confided in William a secret and requested a spell.

The fact is, Annie and Will’s mother is the most famous witch in Salem. And everyone knows that William is following in his mother’s footsteps. If someone attacked William, Annie needs to find out who. Could her mother be next? And what about the crystals and spells? Someone’s life may depend on it and time might be running out…
